Testing Primark Liquid Lipsticks & Lip Liners | Lip Swatches & Review | Beauty District

Hey guys! So in today’s video I’m putting Primark liquid lipsticks and lip liners to the test! I’m a huge fan of liquid lipsticks and these are the cheapest liquid lipsticks I’ve ever seen so I wanted to check them out. I also picked up some matching (even though they’re not really matching, the caps on the lip liners are deceiving!) lip liners at my attempt at a Primark lip kit. I can’t believe it but Primark have bought out their own lip kits! I’ll probably pick those up at some point in the future. I hope you enjoyed this video and thanks for watching! xoxo

P.S. Please ignore my terrible makeup in this video, I’ve had some skin issues because of a certain product and my makeup just wasn’t looking good. (I’ll talk about what product it is in a future video). Also I don’t know why my brows look like such a weird colour, I promise they didn’t look like that in real life.

UPDATE:
So as promised I tested out the 3 liquid lipstick shades, not the lip liners, and here is what happened! A couple of things I missed in the video – all 3 colours are transfer proof and you get 7ml of product which is a huge amount for a liquid lipstick, so they really are amazing value for money!

KIM:
I have changed my mind slightly on the shade Kim because I was the most negative about this shade. I still don’t like the colour on myself but that’s just personal preference. My opinion has just slightly changed on the formula. It still feels the driest on the lips but trying it a second time it wasn’t as streaky. I did shake and mix the product before applying it in the video but I must have just mixed it up a bit more the second time because it went on so much more opaque. I don’t think you would need a lip liner underneath, so if you like the colour the formula’s not as bad as I originally thought. Just make sure you shake it a lot before applying. This one is also the worst in terms of lasting power and fades a lot after eating and drinking. I would say it lasts for around 5-6 hours or it lasts until you eat or drink something. It layered completely fine but did become tacky with a second layer.

KENDALL:
For any cool tone lip lovers you need Kendall in your life! The colour is stunning, I know I’ll get a lot of use out of this one because I think it’s quite unique. The formula is better than Kim but it’s still drying. Lasted for around 5-6 hours on the lips but did last better through eating and drinking than the shade Kim. But it does still fade in the centre of the lips so you will need to reapply.

KARLA:
This is still my favourite out of all 3 and is going to be perfect for Autumn and Winter! For brown lip lovers this is the one for you. It performed very similar to Kendall, lasted for 5-6 hours, lasted better through eating and drinking but did still need to reapply because of fading in the centre of the lips.
